How to sync PLG rate?
Navigate to “Account Settings” and locate the “eBay sync options” section. Make sure the “Update items quantities and content from the original item” toggle is enabled.
When “Update items quantities and content from the original item” is enabled, you will have the option to turn on the “Sync Up Promoted Listing General (PLG) Rate” toggle. By enabling this feature, eBaymag will synchronize PLG information from the original listing to the international listings. To make any changes to the campaign, please update the information on the original listing site.
Important Note:
"Sync Up Promoted Listing General (PLG) Rate" is disabled by default.
If you disable the "Update items quantities and content from the original item" feature, the "Sync Up Promoted Listing General (PLG) Rate" toggle would also be disabled.
Changes to the campaign title on the original site will not be synchronized to the international sites. Besides, eBaymag automatically assigns a campaign name for the international sites using the following format : Ebaymag-CampaignIdOfOriginalListing-timestamp.
Here are some common questions that provide clarity on how certain features operate within the system.
1. PLG Information Synchronization with eBaymag
PLG information is synchronized through eBaymag when any changes (except for title) are made to the PLG details of the original listing. If you have already created international listings using eBaymag, please be aware that simply activating the PLG option will not automatically apply PLG to your existing international listings. To apply PLG to these listings, you have to initiate synchronization by making a minor modification to the PLG details (except for title) of the original listing after enabling the PLG option.

2. Currently limited to Fixed Ad Rates PLG Campaign
We currently provide the feature to copy Fixed ad rate in PLG campaigns, enabling users to easily duplicate successful campaigns and keep the same ad rate setup. However, please note that campaigns using Dynamic ad rate cannot be copied at this time. This is because dynamic ad rate is more complicated and requires special settings that are hard to transfer. We are currently working on this functionality and will share updates as soon as they become available.
3. Modifying PLG Campaign Title
Modifying the title of a PLG campaign will not impact its performance. As previously mentioned, changes made to the campaign title on the original site will not be reflected on the international listing sites. You can update the titles on the original site to better align with your marketing strategies and management goals.
4. Campaign Type Transformation
When you create a rule-based campaign on the original site, it will be converted into an item-based campaign for the international sites. This transformation ensures that each product is individually managed and tracked on these international platforms.
5. Potential Scenario for Rule-Based PLG Synchronization Failure
Converting a rule-based campaign to an item-based campaign on international sites depends on the number of listings involved. PLG synchronization may fail if, before synchronization, the international listing is part of another rule-based campaign on the international site with multiple listings. In this case, eBaymag cannot remove and reassign the listing to an item-based campaign, preventing successful synchronization. However, if the international listing is part of a rule-based campaign with only one item on the international site, eBaymag can easily end the campaign and move the listing to an item-based campaign.
〈How to verify if it is a Rule-Based setting〉
Log in to each country’s marketplace that you want to verify.
Go to Seller Hub > Advertising > Campaigns > Click on the PLG you want to verify > Click "Edit campaign" in the top right corner. If you see the phrase "1,000 listings added using your rule" under "Add listings," it indicates a rule-based PLG setting.
6. Only General Campaign Strategies Compatible with eBaymag
When managing your campaign strategies through the eBaymag platform, it is important to note the types of strategies that can be synchronized. Currently, eBaymag supports synchronization only for "General" campaign strategies. Please be aware that "Priority" campaigns are not supported for synchronization with eBaymag.
