Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: How do I set different shipping prices for each international site?

Open the policy detail page, select the tab for the site you want to adjust, turn on the "Adjust shipping policy on international site" toggle, and configure the service and pricing for that site independently.

Q2: I updated my original eBay shipping policy. How do I sync the changes to eBaymag?

Make sure your Configuration Mode is set correctly. Then open the corresponding policy in eBaymag and click "Resync Shipping Profile." eBaymag will immediately fetch the latest version and regenerate all per-site settings.

Q3: Will my per-site manual adjustments be preserved after a Resync?

Yes. Adjustments made via the "Adjust shipping policy on international site" toggle are fully independent of Resync and remain intact every time you resync the General Policy.

Q4: What is the difference between Price Priority and SLA Priority?

Both modes use AI to automatically choose a shipping service for destinations your original policy does not cover. Price Priority focuses on the lowest-cost option, while SLA Priority focuses on the fastest one. For destinations already covered, both modes apply all eligible services directly.

Q5: How do I apply different configuration modes to different policies?

Set the mode for most of your policies and resync those policies, then switch the mode and resync only the policies that need the different setting. Each policy retains the mode used at the time of its last Resync.

Q6: Which eBay policies support automatic service mapping?

Automatic mapping applies to policies where the eBay shipping method is Standard shipping, and the cost type is Flat. Note: "Standard shipping" is the method category name, not the service tier of the same name.

Q7: How do I create a new shipping policy?

For fully customized shipping rules, use manual policies. Go to Policies → Business policies, click "Create a shipping policy," and fill in your settings. Everything is managed and saved within eBaymag.

Q8: Can I offer shipping to additional international destinations beyond my default coverage?

Yes. On the per-site tab, turn on the "Adjust shipping policy on international site" toggle and configure shipping destinations and service settings for that site independently.

Q9: How do I manage EU return requirements?

Enable the "14-Day Returns Accepted" toggle in Shipping Policy Settings. eBaymag automatically applies a 14-day return policy to your EU listings whenever no return policy is set.

Q10: How do I handle duplicate policies and move listings to the new policy?
Keep the policy with the latest rules and remove the duplicates. Go to Policies > Business policies and select the policy that uses the latest rules. Then find all policies that share the same original eBay policy by name. For each duplicate policy:

· If no items are associated with it, click the Delete icon to remove it.

· If items are still associated with it, click the Delete icon and reassign those listings to the policy with the latest rules in the confirmation dialog. Finally, click the Delete button to confirm the reassignment and remove the duplicate policy.
